BREAST

BreastScreen Australia (BSA) aims to reduce morbidity and mortality from breast cancer in Australia by the early detection of breast cancer, with high standards of program management, service delivery, monitoring and evaluation and accountability (BSA National Policy). The BreastScreen Reader Assessment Strategy (BREAST) is a resource by which BreastScreen Australia may continue to meet these aims.

BREAST is a program based on digital screen reading test sets designed to assess performance of screen readers and to provide immediate feedback to individual readers and BreastScreen Services. The feedback is made possible through the Ziltron web-system. BREAST will significantly enhance the well established quality assurance program of BreastScreen Australia.
